Working together with Kreatives & the International Paralympics Committee, we worked on the creative & animation direction of 22 educational videos in various formats and languages.
The project won a Gold & People's Lovie Award in the Film & Video category, and was covered by the likes of Its Nice That and Creative Boom.
The challenge
For the first time ever, the Paralympic games were broadcast in over 160 countries. Many of these countries had little to no knowledge of the sports - and some events can seem complicated. There are many considerations: adaptive equipment, categories for severity of impairment, technical abbreviations. Our job was to help provide the main information they might need before watching the event.
The outcome
We collaborated with artist from all over the world, each from different backgrounds and cultures, matching the uniqueness that the Olympic & Paralympic games bring. The result was 22 completely different looking animated spots. Complex information was distilled into bite-size chunks, broadcasting the most vital information pre-events.
